Individual Therapy
Group work has its place, but some things are easier to say one on one. In individual therapy at Woodard Recovery, you and your therapist meet privately to work through what's driving the addiction, whether that's trauma, grief, or patterns your loved one has carried for years. It's a core part of every treatment plan here.
How Individual Therapy Works in Treatment
Sitting across from one clinician, week after week, gives you room to say things you might not share in a group. That is the core of individual therapy at Woodard Recovery. A session usually runs an hour, with a licensed clinician who listens, asks questions, and works with you or your loved one on the specific patterns that fuel addiction, anxiety, depression, or trauma. It never happens in isolation. Your therapist coordinates with the rest of your treatment team and adjusts the plan as you make progress, so the work keeps pace with where you actually are.
