Cocaine Addiction Treatment
Cocaine wears the body down in ways that are easy to hide at first: sleepless nights, a racing heart, money that keeps disappearing. At Woodard Recovery, treatment starts with safe medical detox and continues through counseling and long-term aftercare that supports you or your loved one at every stage.
How Woodard Recovery Treats Cocaine Addiction
Cocaine pulls you back with cravings that hit hard and fast, and the crash afterward can leave you or your loved one exhausted, depressed, and unable to focus. That physical pull is real, but it is also treatable. Treatment starts with a clinical assessment that determines the right level of care based on how long the use has gone on and what else is happening in your life.
Cocaine withdrawal is mostly psychological rather than physical, so medical detox is used when it is genuinely needed, not by default. From there you move into residential care or an outpatient program. If depression or anxiety is driving the use, we treat both at once. Separating them rarely works.
Therapies We Use
Recovery rarely responds to a single fix, which is why your care plan pulls together several approaches at once. That usually means cognitive behavioral therapy to change the thinking behind use, group therapy for accountability, and family support so the people around your loved one heal too. When it fits clinically, we add medication-assisted treatment.
